Overall objective:

You will be responsible for the full set of accounting function and financial reporting for the Taiwan branch office, as well as support APAC finance team for different projects in regional offices.

You will work closely with the different departments in the organization to insure smooth interaction with the operations.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist group/finance team in preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecast, variance analysis and schedules according to company approved policies and procedures

• Maintain effective internal control and safeguard for accounting functions and reporting integrity

• Prepare audit package and liaise with auditors/statutory agencies to ensure all reporting requirements

• Participate in the ERP implementation and in-charge of finance related functions, coordinate with other departments to ensure transaction flow are properly set up.

• Oversee and support the daily operations of the branch office, advise necessary improvement to facilitate operation.

• Support APAC HR partners on local human resources arrangement

• Maintain a high degree of flexibility and accessibility to build strong professional working relationships across departments.

   

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Finance/Accounting or related discipline with accounting qualification
• Have 5 years all-rounded accounting experiences from sizable company, experience with Taiwan entity is preferred.
• good business knowledge with hands-on experience from positions on an operational level.
• Excellent communications skills in a team environment.
• Critical thinking, take initiative, working under pressure, proven ability to meet deadlines and excellent problem solver
• Skilled user of common office software and other popular modern technologies is an asset
• Strong US GAAP, Excel and ERP knowledge is preferred
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is a must
• International travel will be required.
