Job Responsibilities:

• Underwrite all lines of General Insurance business within the delegated underwriting authority based on the approved underwriting guidelines and strategy

• Support to review underwriting plan and manage risk exposure according to the authority

• Support day to day operations including issuing or reviewing policy documents to ensure its quality

• Keep track of premium production against budget and review exception reports to ensure compliance

• Conduct underwriting audits as needed

• Handle enquiries on quotation and policy from different distribution channels

• Assist in system enhancement and ad hoc projects assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Form 6 with professional insurance qualification preferred

• Minimum 5 years working experience in insurance industry preferable from General Insurance underwriting

• Experience in SME and Personal Line Business preferred

• Possess strong analytical mind and detailed oriented

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

• Proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint
