Our client, a leading fashion brand, is currently looking for a Senior Merchandising  & Retail Operations Director to look after Hong Kong and China market.

 Responsibilities

• Collaborate and negotiate with the headquarter on planning, controlling and executing each season’s budget, buying strategy and product mix selection order to achieve the budgeted objectives of the brands
• Analyze sales forecast and relevant analytical reports to monitor sales performance
• Carry out regular follow up on merchandize planning to maximize sales and profit based on seasonal business plan
• Keep abreast of competitors’ activities, consumer trends and buying pattern and recommend change to policy where relevant
• Develop strong relationships with key business partners
• Prepare budget plan in terms of sales forecast, headcount requirements and financial requirements.
• Develop and implement commercial action plan to grow the business

 Requirements

• University certification in Fashion, Retail Management, or other related discipline
• At least 12 years solid experience in merchandising or retail operations capacity
• With strong numerical and analytical sense
• Strong leadership skill
• Energetic, detail oriented, good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate with strong market sense in the fashion area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
