Responsibilities:

• Review & approve fabric/color to ensure the quality shipping
  
• Manage fabric/color library
• Collaborate with Designer & Merchant in the identification of core & novelty fabric
• Able to interpret customers’ needs & communicate efficiently with suppliers
• Recommend solution to merchant on fabric & color
• Provide technical know how to help merchandising team on costing or production
• Understand testing & provide feedback & guidance to mills      

 Job Requirements:

• High Diploma in Textiles or related field
• 3 -5 years’ experience in a technical fabric role of apparel business, preferably in US buying office
• Experience working directly with fabric mills
• Understand fabric with technical background in textile dyeing & finishing
• Good verbal & written communication skill in both English & Chinese, able to communicate in Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Able to work independently & a team player

The candidate with more experience will be considered as Sr. Fabric Technologist.
