Job Overview

Reports to Senior Manager – Group Purchasing, Assistant Manager / Manager – Group Purchasing will assist Senior Manager the Purchasing operations and ensure company standards for Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Continuous improvement are being met.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • In-depth knowledge of FF&E materials, product specifications and understand the cost structure of FF&E items and fitting out materials 
  • Assistant in establish and enforce internal control policy and procedure throughout the department for various purchases
  • Ensure all departments in the company receives goods and services as required and to the standards they have specified at the best possible price.
  • Experienced in strategic program planning, establishment and achievement of overall program performance metrics plus structured implementation and measurement of relevant program best practices
  • Interact with department and team members, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
  • Encourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and multicultural communications.
  • Adhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and at least 2 years in supervisory level in Purchasing in hospitality, construction or gaming industry is required.
  • Degree holder, preferably in logistics, supply chain or business related
  • Fluent in English. Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, power point and Word
  • Strong sense of Integrity, reliable, hardworking and a good team player
  • Willing to travel from time to time
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, friendly and polite with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who responds quickly to demands and thrives in a high-pressure work environment.
  • Able to multi-task.
