Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • To conduct literature reviews, policy analyses and studies (qualitative and/or quantitative) for advocacy and research projects in the areas including but not limited to health care, rehabilitation and elderly care;
  • To implement and monitor advocacy and research projects, including but not limited to preparation of progress reports and project reports, as well as budget control;
  • To draft evidence-based advocacy and research papers;
  • To work with internal departments/units and external parties for advocacy and research projects;
  • To support lobbying and community work as and when necessary;
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in disciplines of Public Health, Social Policy, Social Sciences, Social Work, Statistics, Law or related subjects;
  • At least 2-year experience in rehabilitation, elderly care or other healthcare-related fields is preferred;
  • Experience in advocacy and/or research (qualitative and/or quantitative) work is preferred;
  • Strong sensitivity in current affairs especially healthcare and social care policies;
  • Good proficiency in Chinese and English languages, including Putonghua; and
  • Outgoing personality, independent, able to work with others as one team and willing to work under pressure.
