Job Description
Duties
The appointee will be responsible for (a) installation and maintenance of IT hardware and software; (b) installation and maintenance of teaching and AV equipment; (c) hardware and software troubleshooting and configuration support; (d) performing helpdesk and staff/students support services for IT-related issues; (e) ensuring timely resolution of all incidents and problems; (f) assisting in any IT ad hoc projects as assigned; and (g) providing non-office hour support as required.
Appointment Criteria
Applicants should (i) have a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) have at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in in-house technical support; (iii) have good knowledge of computer network (LAN and Wireless), PC and Mac; (iv) be competent in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 2010 or above; (v) be proactive, good team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision and a sense of accountability; and (vi) have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
