Job Descriptions:

• International commodity, shipping and marine fuel market analysis with weekly report and monthly summaries.
• Assist to monitor all activities in raw materials purchasing planning and implementation, namely budgeting, materials sourcing, price and terms negotiation and vendors assessment. Build and develop new clients as well as maintaining strong relationship with existing clientele and related government departments.
• Contract and tender review and supervise full set of shipping and banking documents for L/C application and negotiation.
• Operation of Panamax vessels including voyage schedule arrangement, charter party negotiation, bunker oil purchase, insurance, payment of disbursement, certificate handling etc.
• Operation analysis including annual budget, quarterly and annually analysis report of commodity procurement and shipping operations.
• Handling full sets of Import & Export shipping documents, L/C, bank documentation, Trade-link System & China custom declaration.Settlement of incomes (hire, freight, demur-rage, etc.) and payment for the vessel’s daily operation (fuel oil, disbursement, dispatch, tax, commission, etc.)
• Operation analysis including annual budget, quarterly and annually analysis report including shipping and marine fuel market, income, cost and profit for each voyage.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in / Procurement / Shipping Management /Supply Chain Management / Business or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant commodity trading experience, specializing in Thermal Coal, Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Commodity Procurement and Shipping Management Officer.
• Familiar with contracting and tendering process and general purchase contract terms and conditions.
• Familiar with general ocean shipping operations.
• Self-motivated, driven and responsible individual
• Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin (Both oral and written)
• Willingness to travel and adaptable to foreign cultures
• Travel to PRC frequently

• 5 days work (Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:30)
