Job Description
This position is responsible for debts collection and solve the overdue payment problems in Account Receivable Team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect outstanding receivables through telephone and/or demand letters
- Ensure timely mailing of statement of accounts to customers/agents/intercompanies
- Liaise with other departments for disputing billings and outstanding accounts
- Maintain and update customer credit list periodically and ensure a copy to be distributed to each department for record
- Ensure each customer's approved credit period and limit are meet
- Assist and advise the direct supervisor and/or manager on course of action needed to take on long outstanding and/or doubtful accounts
- Collect outstanding either personally or through courier service
- Submit customer outstanding reports in timely and accurate manner
- Visit existing and potential customer offices factories when required
- Perform any special duties / projects as assigned by the management
- Prepare analysis reports
Requirements:
- High School standard or above with LCC Higher Accounting Certificate
- Minimum 3 year relevant experience in Credit Control field
- Pleasant, analytical, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
- Good computer knowledge including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Possess core competences including planning and organizing, customer and service orientation, team building and cooperation, initiative and commitment for quality
- Work location: Kowloon Bay
