Responsibilities:

• Reported to North Asia Head of Compliance based in HK branch and coach a team of 10 professionals
• Assume deputy head function to oversight FCC, regulatory and business compliance advisory function by to ensure the daily business activities fulfill corporate/regulatory governance
• Ensure compliance policies and procedures are properly implemented and updated
• Promote and cultivate strong compliance culture by providing periodic updates/training
• Provide advice to business owners & senior management as to regulatory concerns for existing and new initiatives of business as well as product suitability
• Key lead to manage regulatory survey, self assessments and audit
• Work in collaboration with compliance/risk professionals across investment, general AML, OR teams by maintaining regular dialog with headquarter and SE Asia

Requirements:

• Well qualified graduate in Law, Accounting ore related disciplined with steady 6-10years+ of regulatory, business and AML compliance experience earned from bank or regulators
• Solid FCC/AML expertise
• Profound understanding of private banking business is essential
• Good stake holder management with proven capability to consult/advise business and senior management from front to back offices
• Well versed with Banking rules and HKMA/SFC regulations
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
