The successful applicant will be responsible for:  

Financial Accounting:-

• Handle financial reporting and accounting for the Company and Group’s small entities
• Assist Accountants on daily workload
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory and governmental bodies at all times
• Be a gatekeeper – inform the team for potential / upcoming issues, propose improvements where necessary and appropriate
• Handle year-end audit including, but not limited to the preparation of schedules, reply to auditors’ queries, inter-company transactions reconciliations, carrying out analytical reviews, etc.
• Assist in any ad hoc assignment as required

Cashier:-

• Monitor all cash receipts for all client money bank accounts
• Ensure receipts and cash allocation are updated onto Global in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare month-end closing of bank account and ensure the closing is done on time in Global and records in Global tie to bank accounts related to client money
• Arrange for cheques to be deposited, arrange for funds transfer (brokerage drawdown)
• Assist in Client Money Bank Accounts reconciliation including Realized Brokerage process in Global

The job will require the individual to possess:

• Holder of University degree in Accounting
• Strong MS Office knowledge
• Basic understanding and knowledge of regulatory compliances
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good customer-service attitude
• Self-motivated, attentive to details and able to work under pressure
• A good team player; able to work independently with minimum supervision under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of SUN Accounting system preferred
• Intermediate level of Mandarin a plus
