RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote the Society’s vision and mission on promoting animal welfare work in the community by fully utilising the SPCA Website and other online, offline and mobile channels;
• Maintain and update the SPCA's English and Chinese websites, and be responsible for uploading information, monitoring and reporting performances, and oversee site optimization and SEO enhancement;
• Manage the SPCA’s eDM system and support respective internal teams on their eDM campaigns; from the design and layout, to the delivery and tracking on each and every projects;
• Design, organize and optimize digital content for the SPCA website, eDMs, web banners, mini-sites, social media platforms, and other online initiatives;
• Assist in the development of digital and mobile marketing campaigns and be responsible for the related monitoring and reporting of the outcomes;
• Assist with the development and management of photo and digital content;
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver a bi-weekly newsletter to all SPCA’s donors and supporters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Digital Marketing or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintaining and customizing Content Management System (Joomla / +Wordpress)
• Must have practical experience in CSS, HTML, PHP
• Solid hands-on experience of graphic design software such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, AfterDark, Fireworks, video editing and Search Engine Optimization is preferred
• Familiar with Macintosh operating systems
• Knowledge of Cross Browser problems/fixes
• Exposure in mobile marketing with knowledge of the commercial utilization of related apps
• Experience in Responsive Web development and e-Commerce is a big plus
• Proficiency in Swift/ Objective-C for iOS; or Java for Android
• Coordinate with cross functional teams for the SDLC, e.g. collect & define user requirements, design, analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, etc.
• Responsible for system development life cycle from requirement Study, System Analysis and Design, Code Analysis, System Implementation, UAT, Documentation, and Deployment
• Experience in UI development for both web & mobile apps
• Monitor and perform Web / Mobile development, enhancement and maintenance.
• Familiar with up-to-date on the latest mobile developments and technology
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) is preferred
• Creative and has an appreciation of new ideas and technology
• Mature, well-organized, self-motivated, result oriented with ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
• Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals.
