Job Description
- Responsible for hiring, training, and leading of floor staff in accordance to GP standards and regulations.
- Supervise all restaurant activities including bar set up, reception, floor shifts (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, happy hour), administration and HR, off-site catering and events operations, cashier opening and closing.
- To adhere to a systemized training module for all front of house staff which ensures consistency in product knowledge, sequence of service, up-selling and customer service skills.
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, administer orientation, train new employees and carry out performance reviews for all service staff, evaluating performance to ensure compliance to company standards.
- Management of staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Collaborating with Head of Kitchen Department to communicate most up to date product knowledge, and to ensure smooth running of operations.
- Coordinating with Directors of GP on monthly financial plan review, implementing management systems and strategies to increase footfall and revenue.
- Providing various sales reports, P&L, employee records and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and operations improvement.
- Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials and staff members as necessary.
- Responsible for up-sell training, promoting of brand in-house and meeting monthly targets for restaurant, private dinners and event.
- Cultivate and maintain guest loyalty; manage business development through guest relations.
- Keeping Grassroots Pantry’s quality standards and hygiene in all food and beverage aspects.
- Managing and coordinating both on-site and off-site activities such as private dinners, private events, catering, markets, workshops, etc.
- Reports directly to General Manager and NPG Upper Management Team.
