Position

Foundation Academy is looking for a dynamic and creative-minded teacher for its flagship Filmmaking course for primary school children.

• Creating an exciting and interactive learning environment for primary school students.
• Discussing and guiding students through the basics of filmmaking; including but not limited cinematography, acting, and directing.
• Planning, executing, and adapting the Foundation’s Filmmaker course curriculum to best suit the individual needs of different students and class sizes.
• Independently conduct the filming and editing of the students’ films while encouraging students to find their creativity and collaboration skills.
• Effectively communicate in written and verbal form with students, parents, and administration regarding student and course progress.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and verbal English is a must.
• Lively and energetic personality with a passion for visual storytelling.
• Degree in Filmmaking, Videography, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in film production, videography, and video editing is crucial.
• Efficient and organised mindset, able to multitask and work well under pressure and hard deadlines.
• Confidence in overseeing and performing all aspects of video production from conception to execution (script adaptation, filming, editing).
• Demonstrated record of teaching experience (any subject, preferably with primary aged students).
