The Web Developer/ Programmer is responsible for web development of in-house JAVA based application and the IT infrastructure of the Company as well as providing technical support to other users within the Company.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement web-based JAVA applications
• Provide technical support on IT infrastructure including network, servers and computers
• Carry out daily support operation such as server health check & maintenance
• Co-operate with external vendors to provide IT support to users
• Answer hotline calls from both external and internal parties
• Document software design and IT procedures
• Assist in other functions of the Company if required

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or Higher Diploma holder or above in computer or information engineering  or related disciplines; Fresh graduate will also be considered
• 2 year experience on JAVA, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, mySQL, CCS3 and HTML 5 preferred 
• Experience in Java web application development is a must
• Experience in Linux, Tomcat, XML, JSON and responsive HTML layout
• Good knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN and routing protocols
• Knowledge of Windows, UNIX server and PC maintenance
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Patient, elf-motivated, detail-minded, responsible and able to work independently
• Good passion for programming and server maintenance
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and co-ordination skills
