Responsibilities:

Contract to a government department to provide technical support and development of the data centers network of OGCIO including services enhancement and to ensure the security, availability and functionality of services being provided to government bureau or departments could met the predefined standard.

• Duties include network infrastructure review, network product research, technical network and system design, system documentation, planning and conducting of various testing and system acceptance coordination with other team users and vendors/contractors for project development and implementation;
• Candidate will be required to work at 3 data centers in Wan Chai, Tsuen Wan and Sai Kung when necessary; and
• Candidate may also be required to work in non-office hours occasionally/ per ad hoc request during system implementation phase and performing system changes.

Requirements:

• Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 4 years IT work experience;
• Hands-on technical support experience in Internet Firewall, Router Configuration and IT Service / Outsourcing Management;
• Experience in operation and helpdesk support of data center network services;
• Experience in preparing guidelines and support procedures to junior support staff to perform daily network support tasks; and
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
