• Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
• Taking ownership of the monitoring and maintaining of computer systems and networks primarily in the Asia region as well as the rest of the world where required
• Support the systems in the LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, desktop systems, file server, VDI and IP Telephony
• Monitoring and supporting physical and virtual servers, windows Active Directory, physical access, CCTV, storage and backup archiving
• Troubleshooting system/network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults acting as a L2 and L3 engineer
• Take ownership in the development and maintenance of the Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore offices disaster recovery strategy creation in cooperation with ADS headquarters
• Deployment and maintenance of VM Ware Infrastructure and NUTANIX

Support & Maintain Existing Operational Systems and End Users

• Perform Backups, Systems recovery in case of failures/disasters
• Offsite storage of daily servers backup in a secured environment
• Apply software and security patches on regular proactive (patch management lifecycle) and reactive basis
• Maintain and support mail system and ensure mobile device management
• Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person
• supporting the roll-out of new applications
• End User Support – Providing desktop as well as first line support for all applications
• Log and resolve all incidents and problems using IT HelpDesk software (Manage Engine)
• Ability to support iPhone and Android telephony technology
• Ability to support L1 Cisco Call manager and Cisco desk phones
• Escalate issues to management in a timely fashion

Asset Management

• Hardware: Ensure Barcoding and maintain a registry of Part No, Model, Specs, Warranty, custodian etc.
• Software: Ensure ADS is complied with licensing requirements and also security policies
• Manuals / Books / CD’s /Disks
• Offsite storage of operating systems and application CD’s
• Follow company's best practices in implementing and keeping updated the CMDB and Asset Management Databases
• Through Business As Usual practices identify opportunities and synergies for cost savings where applicable

HO and Global Projects

• Lead/Participate in global/HO IT Infrastructure projects on a time to time, based on requirements
• Contribute, implement, maintain Global IT Systems/solutions as and when necessary
• Provide assistance, coverage and support to the global IT Team on system/performance improvements, security initiatives, and process enhancements etc.
• Propose new concepts, ideas, technology for the benefit ADS business through better IT Infrastructure and services.

Other Tasks

• Take ownership and create schedules for patching activities as well as create and manage management reports for regular patching activities and critical patching activities in cooperation with HQ
• Maintain a virus free and secured network by ensuring that all machines are installed and updated with Antivirus software and patterns
• Time to time administration of Network and Security Solutions, including Routers, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web and Email Content filtering, and Access Control Systems, etc.
• Testing and evaluating new technology
• Maintaining, Monitoring and Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Follow ITIL Service Management Practices and adhere to relevant procedures and tools for the same
• Adhere to Information Security Policies and procedures as communicated by Information Security Manager.
• Adhere to Information Security Policies and procedures as communicated by Information Security Manager.
• Maintenance of Telephone call recordings
• Act as the point of contact for any IT regulatory issues and tasks for the Asia region
• Other work duties as required

• Bachelors or diploma in Information Technology or Engineering
• IT Experience in a MNCs/Finance environment
• At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure & user support, VMWare, Nutanix, Hyper-V, VDI and have worked in a multi-cultural environment
• Backup and Storage technologies knowledge important
• Cloud technologies knowledge and exposure important
• additional certificate in Microsoft Exchange, Cisco, etc. perferred
• Good interpersonal skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• experience in trading applications and platforms is an added advantage
