The Job:

• Perform requirement analysis, and provide functional and technical specification
• Extend the functionality and automate the routine task of the in-house developed financial settlement system
• Review developer source code and even help to implement the source code
• Support users for the daily operation and enquiry
• Manage and support the market rehearsal from HKEX on weekend
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for production issues

Requirements:

We support local hire with solid relevant working experience in HK.

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years’ IT experience in J2EE SDLC and production support
• Familiar with the development tools of WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, SoapUI, Eclipse, Crystal Report, Jasperreport and iReport
• Strong proficiency with SQL and skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Knowledge in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution
• Knowledge in Equity and Derivative settlement process is an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels of users and vendors
• Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work
