Company Description

Our client, a boutique hedge fund, is seeking an Investment Analyst to cover TMT sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research, work with valuation and financial models to generate investment ideas on global TMT sector
• Track and maintain news flow that impact the company and sector
• Undertake due diligence through the review of public documents, annual reports and trade journals
• Generate investment idea and make recommendation to internal stakeholders and external institutional clients
• Write industry and company research reports
• Arrange corporate access e.g. conferences, roadshows for investing clients

Requirements

• University degree in Finance / Business or other related disciplines. CFA (Candidate) or similar qualification is well-regarded
• At least 5 years of experience in equity research in TMT sector. Experience working in the buy side would e an advantage
• Solid financial modeling and analysis skills
• Proficiency in Bloomberg and MS Office applications
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Mandarin
