The incumbent is a member of the Agency’s senior management team, and is accountable to assist Head of Community Care Service (CCSD) in steering the direction and leading the development of the services related to all local Community Health services as well as Shun Lee Hostel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the smooth and effective running of Chronic Disease Management Service for the Elderly, Mobility Equipment Loan service, Patient Concern Service and Shun Lee Hostel
• Assist Head of Community Care Service in drafting of the annual business plan, formatting of policies and operational plans and monitoring the implementation to achieve the set targets
• Constantly review and assess the quantity, quality and types of services to users, make recommendations and undertake new service initiatives for improvement/development to meet community expectations
• Support agency efforts in the aspect of research and development
• Build network and partnership with relevant Government departments, NGOs, public organizations for future service development and contribute to the development the public image of Hong Kong Red Cross

Requirements:

• A good university degree, preferably in Social Work or Nursing
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification and related work experience, with at least 5 years at managerial level.
• Previous experience in community health service for elderly and patient is a definite advantage
• Strategic and analytical minded with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivate with the ability to work under pressure and strong decision making skills
• High proficiency in written English and Chinese. Good spoken Putonghua is an advantage
