Job Description
Responsibilities
- Head both the HR function in Vietnam which employs 6000+ workers in its factories, and cover the Compliance function, in line with HQ corporate standards
- Cover HR functions for the factories including recruitment, C&B, training, unions, etc with support from local HR managers
- Carry out performance management system including "goal setting"
- Comply with local government requirements and monitor legal, labour and data reporting in Vietnam
- Handle labour issues including dealing with labour unions in Vietnam
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management, Business Admin or Legal
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in HR
- Prior manufacturing experience with large factories employing over several thousand workers is a must
- Prefer those who have worked in Vietnam before
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken), Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Proactive and excellent skills in communication, able to cascade key messages down to the local organization
- Based in Vietnam with 2 R&R trips per annum
- Candidates from Hong Kong, PRC, Taiwan or SE Asia are welcome
