The role:

As a part of the Asian Marketing team, the Programme Advisor is responsible to help recruit new individual volunteers and groups. The nature of the position entails frequent, timely and effective communication with potential volunteers, partners, local team and other stake holders.

You will maximize opportunities to make contact with prospects, and to effectively ‘sell the opportunity’. Specifically, you will be responsible for the conversion of enquiries to volunteer applications. You will also work on a range of tasks including but not restricted to organizing marketing events, managing on-going improvements and changes on the Korean website, alumni administration, assisting with social media developments and planning. The job is busy and can be physically demanding, so you should be prepared to sometimes work flexible hours and be willing to travel outside Hong Kong.

You should:

• Speak and write native Korean and fluent English
• Be legally eligible to work in Hong Kong
• Preferably have a degree in Language, Communication or Marketing
• Be able to work independently
• Be presentable and confident to talk to school and universities on your own
• Be friendly and creative
• Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet
• Have experience working within a culturally diverse environment

Contract:

Your contract will be subject to a three-month probationary period. An offer of employment is dependent upon receipt of satisfactory references and personal interview.

Salary & Benefits:

You will be paid a competitive salary as well as agreed day-to-day work-related expenses; the exact salary depends upon your experience and will be discussed with you during the interview.
