Job Description

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Own, from inception to deployment, the entire creative process for eCommerce-related digital design projects. This includes redesign and on-going improvement of existing transactional websites, key digital campaigns and creating design guidelines/templates for internal or external use
  • Lead and execute the entire creative design process, from brief to execution, publishing and post-mortem review with a high degree of autonomy
  • Own the online creative process, including establishing processes where there are none and ensuring a streamlined and effective workflow
  • Act as guardian of eCommerce design best practices and evangelize a conversion- and transactional-focused design philosophy
  • To recommend new design techniques and technologies that aid the customer journey 

 

Key requirements:

  • Degree Holder in online/web/digital designor other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on online analytics experience with Regional exposure or MNC companies
  • High proficiency in MS office, Adobe Creative Suite software and digital packages are definite advantage
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience in creating strong conversion-focused designs for eCommerce brands
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (mandatory)
  • Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, Korean or other Asian languages would be an advantage
  • Able to code in basic HTML and understanding of SEO
  • Candidates need to have a creative flair and strong visual sense
  • Excellent at solving problems and taking the initiative to search and find solutions
  • Ability to understand design requirements when briefed by non-creative stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the latest digital design trends, e.g. responsive design and impactful mobile design
