Job Responsibilities:

• Translation between English and Chinese, mainly School circulars and documents.
• Maintenance arrangements & record keeping: Call school vendor to fix broken items & arrange regular maintenance.
• Assisting with the daily running of the school office: School reception duties, answering phone calls, document filing, etc.
• Stationery & school supply orders.
• Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Coordination: To co-ordinate the school’s seasonal ECAs including vendor recruitment, selection of activities, promoting of activities (making a booklet and memo), enrollment & monitoring of the activities.
• School Banner and Booklet design.
• Ad Hoc duties assigned by the Head Principal, Principal and Head Teachers.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in translation or related discipline
• At least 1 year experience, preferably in a school or other educational institution
• Good communication and written skills in both English and Chinese
• Experience in coordination of after school activities
• High initiative and self-motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to support the School’s daily operations promptly and reliably
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Friendly and reliable
