Role Description
Reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, the Medical Affairs Associate (MAA) is the key scientific expert for providing scientific support for internal and external customers for a given therapeutic area and product(s) , and thereby acts as an essential medical contributor to the successful commercialization of products, activities and services of Pfizer.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical inputs/advices/supports to different medical functional groups and Marketing Department to optimize brand strategy and performance.
- Provide training regarding disease and products to employee groups (e.g., new hires, sales representatives).
- To facilitate the interaction/partnership between Key Opinion Leader (KOLs), Academia, Clinicians, Researchers and Pfizer.
- To provide a timely and accurate response to internal and external medical information inquiries for Pfizer products.
- Act as a medical reviewer on promotional materials and activities to ensure they comply with local and international standards and legal requirements
Qualification
- Degree in Medical Sciences e.g. Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Pharmacology or related field
- Good understanding of the international and local pharmaceutical business and marketing practices
- Proficiency in English and good computer usage
** Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior MAA.
