Job Purpose:

To implement safer sex health promotion campaigns to the ethnic minority community, targeting female of Indonesians and Filipinos, and Africans populations in Hong Kong. The project aims at enhancing their awareness of safer sex and HIV testing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct physical and internet outreach sessions to deliver sexual health education message
2. Assist in planning and implementation the physical and internet outreach (including social media and dating apps) and sexual health awareness campaigns/ workshops/ new initiatives targeting ethnic minority at various channels
3. Assist in building partnership with external stakeholders to target the scattered communities by organizing activities and workshops
4. To assist in recruitment, training and maintenance of the peer educators project
5. Conduct HIV and STI rapid testing with pre and post–test counseling for the community members
6. 22.5 work hours every week

Qualifications and requirements

1. College graduate in social science, public health or social work related disciplines
2. 1 – 2 years relevant experience
3. Experience in working with ethnic minorities is highly preferred
4. Proficient language skills (English and languages of the ethnic minority groups, preferred but not limited to Bahasa Indonesian, Tagalog and / or French)
5. Skilled in Microsoft Windows, Office or equivalent operations
6. A good team player, proactive, good communications skills and flexible
7. Committed to serve the community
8. Willing to work in weekends and evening sessions
