Job Description

Our client is a US based high tech company looking grow their business in Asia, they are now looking for an account manager who will be the sales specialist for the electronic industry. This role can be based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen.

This is a newly created position and key to building on the existing platform in APAC. You will have a track record in direct and / or channel sales within the electronic industry. You will work closely with the senior account manager to achieving the company's business goal as well as liaise across functional teams to deliver on customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving sales activities and be the main point of contact for all matters specific to potential customers within the electronic industry
  • Help sales in the region through direct selling or partners, the sales include new product selling, and post sales
  • Identify key decision maker(s) and influencer(s) within each account and build on existing customer relationship
  • Develop a trusted partnership relationship with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions/services to customers
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Feedback to internal cross functional /support team to develop better value proposition product/service to customers

Requirements:

  • University graduate in any discipline
  • At least 3 years sales or account management experience in China and South Asia, also familiar with the electronic industry is a must
  • Results oriented and able to meet sales targets by building customer relationships from supplier to partnership
  • Experience in SalesForce.com is an advantage but not must
  • Good command in English, be able to communicate effectively internally
  • Team player, but self-motivated and able to work independently
