Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for day-to-day operation of the information security program in Asia
- Accomplish objectives identified by the Chief Information Security Officer through the implementation and development of the organizations Information Technology Security Roadmap / Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Make sure security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced
- Coordinate and undertake information security inspections, tests and reviews
- Establish control procedures in all operational aspects in accordance with the Internet Security System (ISS) Plan
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks
- Prepare reports for management review, proposal and presentation documents as required
- Provide consulting guidance to Information Technology (IT) / Information System (IS) / Internet Security System (ISS) teams on functional projects
- Engage with business counterparts to handle requests: specifications and needs, perform analysis and design solutions
- Contribute to the development of an ISS knowledge bank
- Stay updated with latest developments in information security standards and ecosystem
- Report on managed activities, recommend, design and maintain policies and standards
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Programming or related field
- Over 8 years working experience in IT with 2 years as Information Security Manager or Supervisor
- Experience in ISO 27001 preparation, attainment and retention
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills, good business acumen with strong understanding of business process and cross-functional integration
- Ability to cope with project schedule and demonstrate the flexibility to work under dynamic environment
- A team player to develop security solutions in collaboration with other information technology professionals
- A guardian of ISS theory and principles, with attention to gaps generated during execution phases
- Excellent English communication skills in verbal, written and report writing. Mandarin speaking is an advantage
- Occasional travel may be required for this role when working on project implementation
