Responsibilities: 

• Develop and perform innovative R&D projects and ad hoc project development and implementation assigned by supervisor
  
• Lead and manage the R&D team to meet project deadline and target
• Cooperate with operations teams for development of new test methods/materials or revision of methods for business needs
• Keep updated on knowledge of new technologies, materials, processes and methods of analytical instrumentation

Requirements:

• MPhil or PhD in Chemistry, Material Sciences or other related fields
• Minimum 8 years working experience in a sizable research company or in university
• Substantial knowledge and solid experience in new material development and process improvement
• Ability to create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, responsible, organized, determined, strong communication skills, and strong problem solving skills
• Ability to adhere to project and task schedules
• Proficient in both English and Chinese for communication & writing
