Key Responsibilities:

• Report to Head of Department
• Responsible for working relatively independently to conduct supervision and management of the entities’ accounting work
• Provide accounting support, management policies and procedures
• Participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision and departmental operation
• Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades of accounting software
• Coordinate with Audit, Tax and Treasury to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
• Qualified member of HKICPA or other professional accountancy bodies
• At least 8 years' practical experience in Big Four or recognized reputable accounting firm/banking industry or experience in listed groups with supervisory experience
• Familiar with Hong Kong banking environment with hands on experience in accounting for financial products
• Solid knowledge in Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and PRC GAAP. Knowledge on accounting standards in SEA countries is an advantage
• Good knowledge in financial analysis, strong analytical skills and critical thinking, capable of examining and analyzing financial and management information with business acumen
• Independent, self-motivated with strong managerial and communications skills, and able to work under pressure with tight schedule. Experience in delivering training is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Immediate availability preferred
