Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for management accounting and budgeting, monthly consolidation, financial and management reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries
• Responsible for annual budget, planning, forecasting and monthly operational review report
• Prepare financial reports including IFRS statement and subsidiaries reporting
• Responsible for monthly Returns on Financial Resources Rules (FRR) for reporting to the Securities and Futures Commission
• Review and enhance management reports/analysis
• Track and analyze the group’s financial and operational performance drivers and KPIs
• Develop, implement and maintain financial policies, internal controls and procedures
• Assist in the Treasury function to closely monitor the Group’s cash flow, liquidity and funding
• Handle Tax compliance matters and other tax issues
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
• Solid and in-depth knowledge in the Securities and Futures Ordinance (including Financial Resources Rules), regulations and guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities and risk management control
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance/securities industry with at least 3 years of managerial experience
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (includes both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Knowledge of insurance accounting is an asset
• Proficiency and knowledge of Sun Accounting System is a plus
• Able to work independently with efficiency and able to meet tight deadline
• Self-motivated with good personal integrity, analytical and leadership skills
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Candidate with less experience but have securities accounting experience will be considered for other openings such as Assistant Finance Manager or Senior Accountant
