Responsibilities:

• Identify key control areas and respective risks of existing operations
• Design and implement appropriate tests to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems and procedures, and ensure the compliance with internal and regulatory rules and requirements
• Assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing operations and ensuring compliance with internal and external rules, policies and regulations
• Conduct internal audit tests and compile internal control review reports
• Provide professional advice to respective business units regarding internal control system, risk management framework and anti-money laundering issues
• Prepare audit summary, management report and risk management reports
• Monitor remedial actions and timely follow up audit recommendations on internal control improvements
• Supervise subordinates and review working papers, and ensure proper audit documentation
• Handle other ad hoc assignments

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines;
• Professional qualification in HKICPA, CPA, CFA or equivalent is preferred
• At least 5 years solid experience in in-house audit or internal control, preferably in listed commercial property company and experience gained from CPA firms (Big 4 is preferred)
• Able to work both independently and as a team, and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skill, able to interact with various level of management
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including English and Chinese word-processing and Excel
• Proficient in written and English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is a must
• PRC travel is required
