Job responsibilities: 

• Responsible for daily accounting routine work, journal preparation and ensure all month end reporting deadlines are met
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with regulatory and tax returns
• Assist with year end statutory accounts
• Assist with Company secretarial matters
• Prepare and manage payment settlement (supplier, staff expenses, and payroll, intercompany payments, and miscellaneous expenses)
• Enter invoices in the Accounting system for payments to ensure correct approval, department coding and matching
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and assist in audit
• Liaise and work with other offices on issues

Job requirements: 

• 5 years relevant experience in the financial services industry 
• Oracle knowledge is important for the role
• Strong MS Office, including advanced Word and Excel
• Minimum diploma level education
• Efficient, proactive, organised and well presented
• Fluent English and Cantonese 
• Independent, self motivated and able to take the initiative
