The incumbent is responsible for overseeing and supervising the accounting function for Hong Kong market.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Plan and organize accounting work in the department
• Oversee activities of accounting staff in preparation of statutory accounts and financial reports
• Apply accounting principles, concepts and bases to business in practice
• Review and prepare financial statement and management reports
• Co-ordinate with external and internal audit activities
• Review and recommend changes in procedures and work effectiveness of the department
• Prepare budget, forecast; analyse any discrepancy and propose any recommendation for improvement
• Support Tax Manager for tax return preparation and tax related matters
• Support in the preparation of cash flow reports
• Participate in any special accounting related projects
• Any other duties as may assigned from time to time 

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• CPA qualification
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in financial or accounting, including 4 years in managerial level
• Experience gained in both audit and commercial field is preferred
• Experience in retail industry is a plus
• Strong business sense and good people management skill
• Mature, self-initiative and able to work under pressure
• Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
