Responsibilities:

• Review consolidated financial reporting package from overseas business units
• Analyse the group financial results in details and make assurance of the accuracy and quality of the financial reports
• Communicate with business units on identified issues, collaborate on appropriate resolutions, and follow up on implementation by business units
• Ensure group accounting policies are consistently applied by business units and advise business units on compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules requirements
• Timely preparation of the monthly group consolidation, interim and annual report and other financial reporting functions
• Prepare statutory financial statements for the group companies in different countries mainly in the Asia-Pacific region in accordance with local requirements
• Assist in system migration and implementation
• Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• Qualified Accountant and member of the HKICPA or a reputable accounting association
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in finance/accounting/business analyst environment gained in sizeable organizations/listed companies with at least 3 years professional experience in an international accounting firm a must
• Sound knowledge in Hong Kong/International Financial Reporting Standards, Hong Kong Listing Rules and other financial reporting requirements relevant for a sizeable Hong Kong listed MNC. Knowledge of accounting standards in the U.S., Germany and the U.K. is an advantage and preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiar with SAP applications will be an added advantage
• Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proactive, dynamic, good at multi-tasking and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
