CLP Engineering Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited. We undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, power engineering and smart infrastructure. We are looking for a financial professional to join CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Officer, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure timely projects billing and settlement of the accounts receivable
• Carry out period end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, reports preparation, etc.
• Perform periodic monitoring and reporting on budget variances with actual for projects
• Compile the capital/ operating expenditure budgets and ensure they are financially justified, timely prepared and updated for directors’ approval
• Provide professional advice and support to other branches in relation to financial or control related matters
• Provide necessary financial information for tax filing and reporting to other regulatory bodies
• Identify and recommend changes to processes and systems to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in system and process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

• A recognized university degree in Accounting/Finance and/or possess professional qualification of a recognized accountancy body
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
• A good team player, fast learner, proactive, independent, hardworking, and able to work under pressure in meeting tight timelines
• Able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English & Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications; experiences in using SAP would be an added advantage
• Strong problem solving abilities
