Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Human Resources Assistant position in our Hong Kong office.

The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team in all aspects e.g. payroll administration, tax reporting and staff departure arrangements, recruitment activities, maintenance of HRIS, implementation of HR policies and other HR projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Benefits Administration
     Administration of local and international medical and life insurance plans

  • Payroll & Employee Tax filing
    To assist with the monthly payroll process and payroll related matters, e.g. MPF administration and tax filing 

  • Visa applications
    To process all employment visa/work permit related matters for expatriates and their dependants 

  • Law Society related matters
    To assist with following up and preparing documents/reports in relation to Law Society matters 

  • Recruitment
    To assist with the graduate recruitment/recruitment activities
    To arrange on-boarding logistics for new joiners

  • Other HR duties
    To assist with the daily administration of the HR Team
    To facilitate in the organisation and execution of HR events
    To provide administrative support to the Head of HR Operations, Asia
    To take on special projects as requested
    Other duties which may from time to time be deemed necessary  

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree with 1 to 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably experience working in legal firms
  • Good command of English and Chinese, good Mandarin skill an advantage
  • attention to detail

  • proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
    proven organisational skills and initiative
  • a pro-active and ‘can-do’ attitude towards existing working practices
  • ability to keep calm under pressure
