Job Description
Responsibilities
- Head both the HR and compliance functions in Vietnam which employs 6000+ workers in its factories
- Cover HR functions for the factories including recruitment, C&B, training, unions, etc with support from local HR managers and Head Office in Hong Kong
- Carry out performance management system including "goal setting"
- Ensure compliance with local government requirements in Vietnam and provide/ monitor timely reporting
- Handle labour issues including dealing with labour unions in Vietnam
Requirements
- MUST HAVE WORKED IN VIETNAM BEFORE
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management, Business Admin, etc
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in HR, some compliance experience (factories) necessary
- Prior manufacturing experience with large factories employing over several thousand workers is a must
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Proactive and excellent skills in communication, able to cascade key policies to the local organizations
- Based in Vietnam with 2 R&R trips per annum
- Candidates from Hong Kong, PRC, Taiwan or SE Asia are welcome
