Work within the investment team to analyze, deconstruct and report on market factors that are contributing to market/portfolio performance, utilize quantitative models to optimize portfolio construction, and implement program trading projects. The highly technical, team-oriented analyst will also have to chance to work with investment manager in primary and secondary market deals.

The Role:

• Support investment manager in providing research and trading ideas and strategies.
• Research responsibilities including data mining, financial modeling, analysis and report production.

• Assist to monitor and trade by staying on top of intraday movements of the fund’s positions, market news, events and street chatter to then alert or advise wealth managers and portfolio managers.

• Support development of presentation material to explain strategies, performance results,   etc.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in financial engineering, mathematics, computer science or related field
• Strong mathematical background and very detail oriented
• Ability and willingness to generate ideas and develop innovative solutions
• Highly organized and able to convey messages clearly and concisely
• Good team player

• Strong interest and experience in investment, quantitative analysis and program trading with solid experience in VBA, Python, R, C++, etc.

• Experience in Bloomberg, Factset and WIND

• Good command of Mandarin & English
