Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to provide project management and coordination for KLF’s gynaecological cancer prevention programs including cervical cancer screening, HPV vaccination and education programs. You will provide strategic guidance to the team and to the Executive Director in ways that promote the foundation’s goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of program operations.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics and have experience in public health. Their goal is to ensure that all of KLF’s programs deliver desirable outcomes to our organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and project manages KLF’s HPV vaccination program, education program and cervical screening programs 
  • Manages day-to-day activities for KLF’s programs and is the first point of contact for all questions and requests
  • Liaises with physicians, nurses, other NGOs, health researchers, school administrators, teachers and volunteers to plan and implement programs 
  • Monitors the budget for each program and provides regular reports to the Executive Director
  • Establishes key performance measures, leads the collection and analysis of data to present to different stakeholders
  • Develops key materials (briefing notes, policy briefs, presentations) as required to demonstrate program outcomes 
  • Assists in writing grant applications and other duties as requested by Executive Director

Requirements:

  • Passion for Karen Leung Foundation’s mission to save lives by reducing the impact of gynaecological cancers in Hong Kong
  • Bachelor’s degree and Masters preferred in Public Health, Health Administration or other health-related degree
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in managing health-related programs, health-related research and/or projects 
  • A self-starter with proven leadership skills, creative and independent thinking ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Past experience at a non-profit / charity as employee or volunteer, especially in Hong Kong, is a plus
  • Written and spoken fluency in both Cantonese and English are essential 


The position is full-time, salary commensurate with experience.
