Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 201800575) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Nursing, Nutrition, Public Health, Psychology or health education disciplines, with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, preferably with previous work experience in clinical or health-related research projects.They should have good interpersonal and organisational skills, effective communication skills, and proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility; be highly motivated; and be able to coordinate research projects independently and multi-task. Those with less experience and lower qualifications may be considered as Research Assistant I/II. The appointee will support the daily operation of research projects relating to diabetes prevention in the community setting. He/She will be responsible for screening and recruiting study participants, developing health education materials, implementation of research protocols and health promotion activities, assisting in writing proposals and drafting reports and publications for research projects, and other duties as assigned.
