Our Client – an established Geotechnical Engineering Specialist in the Ground/Soil industry, has activated our Executive Search service to find leaders adept at working across borders, in markets around the world, especially in the Construction Domain.

 Responsibilities: 

• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business in the APAC region.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals.
• Providing input on marketing, public relations and business development budgets within the region.
• Providing input to current and long-term goals, objectives, plans and policies for APAC within the group’s overall framework and strategic plans, and monitoring results of regional Business Development efforts in pursuit of these goals.
• Providing a leadership role in winning key strategic and/or large projects in the APAC region, including the need to identify such projects at an early stage, position the Company as a preferred partner and provide a strong supporting and coordination role in the tender process 
• Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
• Ensuring that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of subordinates are defined and understood through target/goal setting and regular communication.
• Maintaining high ethical standards and complying with all applicable laws, as well as Code of Conduct, QHSSE, HR and IT standards.

 Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualifications
• Min. 10 years of BD experiences in Geotechnical Industry
• Previous technical and commercial experience at a senior level in the areas of business (Site characterization, Asset Integrity, GeoConsulting) within the APAC region is essential
• Travelling required

• The performance of the position will be measured with respect to the number and size of projects in the project pipeline, tender win rate, development of new clients and revenue from key regional and global accounts.
