Job Description

CLP Engineering Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited. We undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, power engineering and smart infrastructure. We are looking for an energetic and innovative professional to join CLP Engineering. Reporting to the Business Development & Commercial Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist in carrying out cost control and contract administration, preparing cost estimation with analysis, maintaining cost data bank, handling tendering and claims matters
  • Support risk management, project management and quantity measurement in various projects to meet the company’s requirements
  • Plan and control contractual / commercial activities of projects, including contract negotiation, contract formation and preparation of interim payment and final accounts to clients and subcontractors
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with various external consultants, suppliers and contractors as well as internal stakeholders
  • Prepare feasibility study and budget of projects in accordance with statutory, safety, environmental, technical, cost, quality and customer requirements and to meet tight project schedules
  • Summarize statistics of tenders and contracts, prepare presentation materials and deliver presentation as required

 Requirements

  • A recognized University degree in Quantity Surveying or related engineering disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in E&M related projects or construction industry
  • Strong connections with relevant consultants and contractors in building construction works
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight schedule
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, customer-oriented, self-motivated
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidate with a valid driving license (1 or 2) is preferred
  • Candidates with lower qualification but with extensive working experience will also be considered
