Job Description

CLP Engineering Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CLP Holdings Limited. We undertake a variety of engineering work including energy services, facility management, smart infrastructure and power engineering. We are looking for an energetic and innovative candidate to join our Airport Facilities Management Branch of CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Project Manager, the appointee will be assigned to work in the Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok and responsible for the following major duties:

  • Responsible for effective project management of maintenance contracts, E&M projects and airport special systems in the airport
  • Liaise with clients / suppliers / contractors on the tendering, contracts administration, variations vetting and payments, as well as claims and disputes negotiation and resolution
  • Coordinate with clients to plan, schedule, and set up proper procedures and precautions to meet the Company's requirements and Corporate Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality (HSSEQ) Documents standards
  • Review specifications for tendering, evaluating and selecting service contractors that meet technical specifications and engineering standards to achieve construction and operational targets
  • Provide training and development for subordinates
  • Shift duty is required

Requirements:

  • A recognized University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Building Services Engineering or relevant engineering disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in design, operation, installation, testing and commissioning and project management of ELV or Building Services projects
  • Sound knowledge of contractor management, interfacing with civil contractors and managing site activities in multi-discipline projects
  • Experience in and/or knowledge in System Assurance Management and Risk Management would be an added advantage
  • Good business acumen, customer-oriented and performance driven
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possession of a valid driving license and Construction Industry Safety Card
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered as Senior Project Engineer
