reports to: creative director

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Creative Director to create and execute studio’s projects, to create designed images and prints, liaising and producing to the final project. The Assistant maintains a high rate of speed and accuracy while working in a fast-paced team environment. Your tasks will include providing creative design solutions, support the Creative team in creating moodboards, research and concepts for key projects and participate in studio-wide creative processes.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Creative

• Assist the creative director for art projects, from concept to creation to execute
• Assist the studio with multi-purpose design initiatives, including product development, printed material, artworks preparation and fine-tuning, booklet, presentations
• Assist with artworks and prints concept and design for in house collection
• Research up- coming design trend
• Moodboards, Research and Concept development of in house projects

Production

• Create production files for printing
• Liaising with printers, production partners and suppliers related to projects
• Ensure all phases of the production are planned and completed on time, within budget and with the highest quality.
• Maintains record files to track order volume and pricing
• Prepare artwork for outsourcing with Adobe Illustrator
• Monitor and coordinate production issues, incoming rush requests and order inquiries

Requirements:

• University / College degree
• A minimum of 4-5 years experience in design related field.
• Experience working on a variety of projects including interior design, graphic design and art projects
• Creative and eye for detail
• Strong design skills
• Strong planning and organising skills and capability to provide creative ideas 
• Very attentive to details
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and presentation ability
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Requirement qualities: creativity, integrity and passion
• Sensitivity to Art is a plus
