A reputable global organisation who is a leader in its field is looking for a talented and seasoned professional with a solid background in traditional business intelligence and hands-on experience in analytics.

About the Role:

Using your technical skills, business acumen and creativity, you will build solutions to surface critical data, automate reporting, optimize BI processes and generate insights to internal customers, allowing quick business decisions to be made.

• Build BI and data platforms from scratch and be solely in charge of these applications and tools
• Develop the data strategy, partnering closely with senior leaders to understand data needs, create a roadmap and deliver solutions that fit their evolving needs
• Build models and utilize statistical and predictive modeling to provide business insights
• Regularly review, prioritize usability of existing reports & dashboard and plans for new reporting requirements, while ensuring uptime and availability of reporting tools & databases
• Confident and effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of management, delivering a combination of consensus and directive driven interaction

About You:

• 10+ years experience building, leading and growing BI/Analytics, with exposure to ecommerce or digital environment
• Proven experience Big Data, Business Intelligence, Architectural-Level Designs, Data Modelling, Delivery, Migration
• Experienced practitioner of Statistical Modelling, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining
• Commercially savvy, exercises great business judgement
• Highly engaging leadership style, strong interpersonal skills and great people practices
• Ability to communicate a vision and purpose to teams and executive teams
• Flexible and able to prioritise business needs in conjunction with stakeholders
• Proven experience translating technical goals and concepts into non-tech speak
• Proven ability to understand and act on industry developments, market forces, customer needs and competitor trends to improve an organisation’s position in the commercial environment
• Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities; thrives on complexity
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Extensive experience working and leading in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
