Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is expected to provide regular updates, analysis and insight to business users such as Management, Marketing, Product Development, Sales etc. This includes standard reporting, monitoring of metrics via BI solution (some SQL knowledge required) and web analytics solutions, ad-hoc support and analysis of projects affecting the websites. Identifying actionable web optimization opportunities and making recommendations are also expected.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Gather and understand business/project requirements from multiple sources including product teams, marketing teams, and functional group members and subsequently implement tracking and reporting.
  • Weekly, monthly reports (Excel, BI and web analytics solutions) which requires data consolidation and validation.
  • Website behavior and visitor experience analysis.
  • Support  development of senior management dashboards.
  • Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal/written) to various business units.
  • Documentation relating to existing processes and suggestion / presentations for improving those processes.  

 

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or Degree in E-commerce / Computing / Statistics / Business
  • Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills.
  • Basic understanding of online marketing strategies such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) and Social Media.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with end users and technical resources at all levels.
  • Exhibits high degree of pro-activeness in analyzing customer behavior using available data to influence changes on the website.
  • Understands the complex web ecosystems and best practices and applies this knowledge to their work.
  • Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focuses as needed.
  • Works effectively independently and as a member of a cross functional team.
  • Ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps.
  • Contribute to improvements in processes (technical or business).
  • Experience in market research methodologies, analyze pre-vs-post launch results, analyze AB test results, and competitor analysis is a plus.
