Responsibilities:

• Curriculum planning and development:

o   Design and update curriculum materials, research new teaching resources and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge

o   Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment and keep abreast of developments in their field

• Teaching:

o   To plan and prepare lesson plan, and deliver lessons

o   Manage student behavior in the classroom and on school premises

o   To arrange different kinds of interesting activities and deliver lessons in a fun and creative way

• Student assessment:

o   Correct student work, give appropriate feedback and produce periodic written evaluations on pupils' progress

o   To observe closely students’ learning progress and conduct assessments

o   To liaise and communicate actively with parents and working partners regarding students' learning progress, students’ performance and development

Requirements:

• Native English speaker with high proficiency in written and oral English
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a well-recognized university with a preferred major in English, Education or relevant subject area
• Experience in planning curriculum, lesson plans, writing portfolios and progress reports
• At least 2 years of solid experiences teaching English in a kindergarten setting
• Able to work independently and is enthusiastic in Early Childhood Education
• Enjoy teaching and love working with young children
• Caring, pleasant, patient, enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated
• Strong Music / Piano / Arts background will be an asset to the position
• Willing to work on weekends and holidays
