Company Description

Our client is a government-subvented organization. Due to business need, they are looking for a Manager,Strategies and Insights to lead desktop research to facilitate business needs and to act as a document controller.

Responsibilities

• Direct the team to deliver in-depth original and analytical desktop research by translating management’s needs into research propositions and formulating findings into solutions/implications/recommendations
• Assist to formulate three-year market environmental outlook, derive forward-looking implications on risks and opportunities in order to provide the platform for the company to develop its annual marketing strategies at global and country levels
• Develop and manage the Resources Center to provide centralized information, photo and video assets readily for use by internal users and the public in an efficient and effective manner
• Direct the team to implement rights management and formulate corporate-wide policies to foster copyright compliance
• Review and evaluate monthly reports so as to compile summary report
• Assist to prepare proper documentation and actions-to-take for internal business planning meetings

Requirements

• Degree holder preferably in Library, Information Science, Information Management, Communications, Journalism, Translation, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 8 years of experience, preferably in library services, resource centres, or a corporate library with strong analytical culture
• Leadership skills to drive the team to deliver analytical desktop research
• Knowledge of market trends, business intelligence, competitive analysis and information management
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and detail-minded with excellent business writing skills
• Strong PC skills, especially in MS, PowerPoint and Word
• Good command of both spoken and written Cantonese and English
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
