Responsibilities:

All we need from you is to pour your heart to coach and lead our young students in their life journey and build them up with a strong character and a healthy passion for their future. Of course, you will guide them to eventually find their own desired schools using a methodical advisory approach.

   I.         Organise and administer the counseling and guidance program with individual students

• Administer the student needs and perform assessment of current standards.
• Schedule appointments for individual counselling interviews for students during the school year under the guidance of Head of Education Counselling / Senior Advisor

-     regular follow up sessions with students on developmental needs.

-     conduct interviews with newly enrolled students.

• Develop a calendar for counselling and guidance activities.
• Motivate and tracking the attitude and progress of students and record the discussions to be reviewed by Head of Education Counselling / Senior Advisors.
• Coordinate student appraisals and performance progress for parents and Head of Education Counselling /Senior Advisors.
• Explore career interests and special talents via regular counseling sessions with assigned students.

    II.         Provide face-to-face and online tutorials to students.

• Provide English tutorial to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
• Preferably provide Science tutorial to at least GCSE level or equivalent.
• Provide Common Entrance and SSAT test preparation.

  III.         Support Head of Education Counselling to organise seminars, events and camps that may be held during weekends or public holidays

• Draft articles on social media
• Supporting Sales and Marketing efforts in Shanghai and nearby cities.
• Organise out-of-town excursions for students.
• Organise social service activities for students with or without parents in Shanghai and nearby cities.
• Administer education and exhibition seminars and events to prospect clients.
• Co-ordination of seminars and events to promote prospect clients.
• Co-ordinate English boot camps and character and leadership building camps for participating students.

  IV.         Office Support and Market Research

   V.         Assist Head of Education Counselling regarding office administrative support and conduct market research and competitive analysis.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an overseas university that you are proud of
• Fluent in written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Previous experience in tutoringfor IB/A-Level/AP
• Knowledge and insight into overseas university and boarding school application process, especially US and UK
• Applicants with less experience in Education Counselling may be considered for Education Counsellor 

Compensation:

• Starting from $30K+ p.m. plus discretionary bonus
• Negotiable
